Gallatin Pike reopens in East Nashville after fuel spill

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A portion of Gallatin Pike was closed for hours in East Nashville Tuesday morning due to fuel leaking from a tanker truck.

The fuel began leaking from a tanker in the 4100 block of Gallatin Pike near Greenland Avenue around 4:30 a.m. According to Metro police, the truck hit a raised area and bottomed out, which caused the leak.
