NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Two suspects have been arrested in connection with gunfire that left two other men injured last August, according to the Metro Nashville Police Department.
Jessie Knowles, 28, was arrested by detectives with the MNPD’s TITANS Unit on Sept. 17, 2025, and 22-year-old Marcus Taylor was arrested Tuesday evening. Police said both Knowles and Taylor allegedly fired on a 29-year-old and a 39-year-old “following a brief interaction” on Lafayette Street.

The 29-year-old was struck in the leg and taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center by private vehicle. Meanwhile, the 39-year-old was reportedly wounded in the foot and taken to Centennial Hospital by private vehicle.
Knowles has been charged with reckless endangerment, being a felon in possession of a weapon and two counts of aggravated assault. As of publication, he remains in custody on a $190,000 bond.
