Unidentified trespasser prompts The Covenant School to close, investigation underway

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — Detectives are investigating two recent trespassing incidents at The Covenant School and Covenant Presbyterian Church campus after surveillance cameras captured a man walking around the property.

According to a Metro Nashville Police report, the most recent incident happened around 1 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 9, when the campus surveillance system detected a man wearing a hooded sweatshirt and carrying a camera outside the school on Burton Hills Boulevard.

Officers said the man appeared to take photos and videos of the campus and took selfies in front of the building before walking away toward a wooded area. The man did not enter the school building during Friday’s incident.
