Suspected Serial Trespasser Targeting Nashville’s Covenant Presbyterian Church/School, Police Seek Identity

A trespasser has been repeatedly targeting the Covenant Presbyterian Church/School located on Burton Hills Boulevard, according to local law enforcement officials. Two separate incidents have occurred in the last two weeks, with the most recent one happening early in the morning. The same individual is believed to be behind both violations.

The latest breach was detected today when surveillance footage captured a man wearing a hooded sweatshirt, armed with a camera, wandering the campus grounds during the early 1 a.m. hour. He seemed to quickly snap photos and videos of the property, taking the odd selfie in front of the church’s edifice before retreating into a nearby wooded area. This enigmatic figure had previously managed to slip into the church building on December 26th by an unsecured entrance, setting off an alarm and fleeing shortly after.

Detectives have released images from the surveillance system that show the suspect’s face, asking for the community’s help to identify him. Nashville authorities urge anyone with information about the person’s identity to contact Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463. They emphasize that callers can remain anonymous and might qualify for a cash reward…
