I-65N reopens in Williamson County after hours-long closure due to multi-vehicle crash

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — A portion of Interstate 65 is closed in Williamson County following a crash involving multiple vehicles.

According to the Tennessee Department of Transportation’s Smartway Map, the crash was reported shortly before 12 p.m. in the northbound lanes of I-65 near mile marker 61 on Tuesday, Jan. 13.

A spokesperson for TDOT stated that the northbound lanes are closed and crews are working to set up a detour at the I-840 exit. Then, at 12:30 p.m., officials announced that a medical helicopter would land in the area.
