NES power pole catches fire, cutting electricity for nearly 100 customers in Hendersonville

HENDERSONVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – An electrical fire on a utility pole caused nearly 100 customers to lose power in Hendersonville on Wednesday night.

The Nashville Electric Service reported that a fire sparked on one of its utility poles on Wednesday night, and nearly 100 customers were without electricity while technicians tended to the pole.

NES’s report states that the fire was put out and the damage was contained to the immediate area…
