NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – Metro Nashville Police are searching for Mena Awad, who is accused of breaking into an apartment and sexually assaulting a 16-year-old girl in her bedroom.
Police said on December 31 around 7 a.m., Awad walked into an apartment complex on Millwood Drive off Murfreesboro Road. He then walked into an unlocked apartment and reportedly sexually assaulted the teen in her bedroom.
Awad was reportedly armed with a gun and a knife during the incident. According to police, the teen does not know Awad, but investigators were able to identify him after reviewing surveillance video…
