Event cancellations due to anticipated winter storm

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — As the Volunteer State braces for the impacts of a winter storm, several Middle Tennessee events are being preemptively canceled or rescheduled in order to offer safety for attendees and staff.

In Nashville, the January event for the Nashville Flea Market has pulled the plug, citing the possibility of snow and severe weather. The event was scheduled for Jan. 23-25 at the Nashville Fairgrounds.

Current weather models anticipate the possibility of freezing rain, sleet and snow hitting Middle Tennessee Friday night into Saturday morning.
