The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm watch, in effect from the evening of Jan. 23 through the afternoon of Jan. 25, for all of Middle Tennessee ahead of a significant winter storm.
Winter storm watches are issued when conditions suggest the potential for a significant winter weather event, including heavy snow, heavy sleet, ice storms, blowing snow or any combination of events.
