Middle Tennessee fire officials urge safety as Arctic cold moves in

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Fire departments across Middle Tennessee are preparing for the possibility of snow and ice over the weekend, saying that preparations now can make all the difference.

“We are just sitting, waiting,” said Nashville Fire Chief and Emergency Management Director William Swann. “But at the same time, we’re preparing for what’s coming.”
