NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – Over 223,000 people were without power in Davidson County on Sunday during the 2026 winter storm that affected multiple states.
As Nashville Electric Service (NES) works to repair power, they’re informing people on how to safely receive their power back.
“After a major storm like this, it’s important to know where our role ends and yours begins,” NES said in a tweet. “NES maintains and repairs the lines leading to your house but homeowners are responsible for the equipment on the house.”
