A man facing multiple charges in Dickson County has been captured by the Cheatham County Sheriff’s Office Warrants Unit (CCSOWU) in Florida.
On the run for a year, Cody Ellis Waller, 35, was arrested at a bus station in Tallahassee, Florida by the Tallahassee Police Department on Tuesday, Jan. 13. According to CCSO commander Sgt. Ryan Hawkins, if Waller agrees, he should be extradited to Cheatham County this week.
Waller was wanted in Cheatham County on an aggravated child abuse charge towards a child eight years old or younger stemming from 2020, but failed to appear in court in 2023. His charges in Dickson County include theft, fraudulent use of a credit/debit card, and violation of an order of protection…
