Two women charged in alleged credit card fraud at Hendersonville Costco

Two out-of-state women were taken into custody by Hendersonville police and charged with multiple counts related to an alleged attempt to commit credit card fraud.

According to court reports, the Hendersonville Police Department was called to the Costco location on Forest Retreat Road on Saturday, Jan. 17, after loss prevention staff at the store reported two women with fake IDs attempting to open credit card accounts, before leaving in a silver Chevy vehicle.

Police reportedly viewed video surveillance footage and observed Jennifer Ines Figueroa, 26, of Brooklyn, N.Y.; and Tyanne C. Echols, 30, of Jamaica, N.Y.; speaking with a sales associate. Figueroa had allegedly provided an ID under the name of a Connecticut woman…
