TN driver charged after allegedly speeding 30 mph over limit leads to injuries, ruptured gas line and brief evacuation

LA VERGNE, Tenn. (WSMV) – A driver is facing charges after an alleged reckless driving incident led to a crash and damaged a gas main, leading to evacuations Thursday night, according to the La Vergne Police Department.

LVPD said an officer saw a vehicle traveling more than 30 miles per hour over posted speed limit Thursday night and tried to initiate a traffic stop.
