Nearly 20 Nashville public schools remain without power, no major structural damage reported due to historic ice storm

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – Metro Nashville Public Schools is continuing to deal with issues with some of its schools still being without power days after the historic ice storm.

MNPS reports that 17 schools remain without power and eight still have partial outages as of Thursday evening.

At its peak, MNPS reports 71 schools experienced outages. The district also said that there have been no reports of major structural damage to any facilities as a result of the winter storm…
