NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – The Tennessee Highway Patrol is urging drivers to slow down and move over after a trooper narrowly escaped injury in a crash during a traffic stop last week.
THP posted a dashcam video from a traffic stop on Interstate 24 showing a trooper who stopped a vehicle traveling 97 mph in a 70 mph zone with snow still on the shoulders of the roadway.
“Seconds later, another vehicle struck the Trooper’s cruiser, nearly pinning him between the guardrail and the stopped car,” THP explained…
