Tennessee business to lay off more than 100 workers

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) – A Knoxville-based business has announced it is laying off more than 100 employees in Nashville next month, according to a WARN notice.

The notice, posted on the Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development’s website, showed Premiere Building Maintenance Corporation filed it Tuesday.

Premiere Building Maintenance Corporation said the company was not selected as an awardee for a new custodial services contract at the Nashville International Airport, and therefore had to file the WARN notice.
