Teen facing slew of charges after traffic stop in La Vergne

LA VERGNE, Tenn. (WSMV) – A teenager is facing multiple charges following an Saturday night traffic stop, according to the La Vergne Police Department (LVPD).

LVPD said officers stopped a vehicle for speeding about 9:30 p.m. A 17-year-old boy was driving and another juvenile was a passenger in the vehicle at the time of the stop.

During the stop, officers found open beer cans, a firearm, about 19.2 grams of methamphetamine and multiple baggies consistent with drug resale, LVPD said…
