FAIRVIEW, Tenn. (WSMV) – A Middle Tennessee creek has been left inundated with diesel fuel after a nearby tank “froze and cracked.”
Williamson County Emergency Management said Tuesday that it responded to the incident on Saturday night. It happened on property owned by Tennessee Valley Paving at 1322 Highway 96 in Fairview. A resident had reported the possible fuel spill.
“Upon arrival, responders traced the source of the spill to a nearby tank and determined that an oil filter that possibly had water intrusion likely froze and cracked, resulting in the release of an undetermined amount of diesel fuel,” Williamson County Emergency Management said…
