NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – A man is in jail for allegedly threatening a runner with a knife at a Nashville greenway trailhead on Monday.
According to the arrest affidavit, officers with the Metro Nashville Police Department were called to the Stones River Greenway Trailhead in Donelson for a call about a man threatening people with a knife on Monday morning.
The officers spoke with a man who said he was stretching at the trailhead when another male approached him in a hoodie and asked him what he was doing. The affidavit states that the man explained how he was getting ready to go for a run, and the man in the hoodie said, “You better run to your truck, bi***,” and produced a knife from his hoodie…
