Man accused of punching, strangling Kroger security guard after attempted theft, arrest papers say

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – A man is accused of punching and strangling a security guard at a Nashville Kroger Thursday, according to an arrest affidavit.

Metro Nashville Police officers responded to the Kroger at 3930 Clarksville Pike for reports of a suspect stealing from the store.
