NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – A runner who was threatened with a knife at the Stones River Greenway Trailhead is speaking out about his experience and said the incident won’t stop him from running.
Wade Oliver was stretching around 10:30 a.m. Monday when he said another man approached him, told him “You better run to your truck, bi***”, and pulled out a large carving knife.
“I yelled, ‘This guy just threatened me with a knife.’ I said it loud and said call the police. Luckily instead of attacking me, he went back over there,” Oliver said…
