JACKSON, Tenn. — A Crockett County teen got the chance to audition for one of the country’s biggest talent shows.
Braxton Gibson, 16, joined over one million singers across the nation for a chance to audition for American Idol. After passing the initial interview and performance rounds, Gibson traveled to Nashville last fall to audition at Belmont University.
He performed live in front of judges Luke Bryan, Carrie Underwood and Lionel Richie.
