NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A Nashville woman was sober when a trooper with the Tennessee Highway Patrol arrested her for driving under the influence, according to a lawsuit.
Court filings obtained by News 2 show the suit arises from an arrest that took place a year ago on Feb. 18, 2025, in Williamson County. The 54-year-old Nashville woman said she was traveling along Interstate 65 when a THP trooper began to follow her.
The trooper allegedly turned on his blue lights as the woman exited the highway onto Old Hickory Boulevard. According to the lawsuit, the woman pulled over in the right-most lane, which is a turn lane, and immediately began to search for necessary documentation as the trooper approached her vehicle…
