NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A man out on bond from a 2023 arrest is back in custody after he was found in possession of a stolen gun and drugs after running from detectives, Nashville authorities said.
According to the Metro Nashville Police Department, detectives with the TITANS unit observed a Jeep SUV making traffic infractions Wednesday night, and when they attempted to stop the vehicle, Brandon Jnobaptiste, 27, ran away along Preserve Boulevard.

Officials reported that Jnobaptiste was in possession of a backpack, which contained 2.25 pounds of marijuana and 26.5 grams of cocaine. In addition to the drugs, detectives said they also found a stolen handgun, reported stolen in January from Franklin, outside the driver’s side door.
During an interview with detectives, Jnobaptiste allegedly admitted that he recently purchased the handgun in East Nashville.
According to the MNPD, Jnobaptiste was arrested three years ago and was expected to appear in court on Thursday, Feb. 19, for multiple felony gun and drug indictments. Authorities added he was convicted in 2020 of attempted robbery in Davidson County and a felony drug offense in Rutherford County…
