NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Metro police served 11 outstanding warrants and arrested six suspects for various crimes, including aggravated assault and domestic assault, after “Precision Policing efforts” Thursday.
The Metro Nashville Police Department said detectives with the TITANS Unit made the arrests and seized two guns, 180 grams of marijuana, three grams of cocaine and other drug paraphernalia. Authorities highlighted two arrests in particular connected with the firearms they recovered.

In the first case, detectives allegedly tried to stop the vehicle of 23-year-old Lavellvo Washington Jr. along Buena Vista Pike, but he sped up and fled. Though Washington was eventually taken into custody — with the assistance of a helicopter and after police deployed spike strips — the MNPD said Washington threw a firearm out of his window.
Authorities recovered 100 grams of marijuana, a digital scale and bags from the Jeep Grand Cherokee Washington was driving. He was charged with weapon possession with the intent to commit a dangerous felony, felony marijuana possession, possession of a firearm with a domestic violence conviction and evading arrest. As of publication, he’s in jail on a $48,000 bond.
Marco Webb, 45, was arrested in a separate case. Webb, a Murfreesboro man, was stopped along Donelson Pike after police said he was driving 70 miles per hour in a zone with a 55 mile-per-hour speed limit. The MNPD said the vehicle smelled of marijuana.

Detectives found two grams of cocaine and fentanyl, digital scales, a handgun, cash and two cell phones inside the vehicle Webb had been driving. They also reportedly found a fraudulent Tennessee ID that had Webb’s photo, but a different name and address. Checks made out in the fraudulent name were found in the glovebox, per the MNPD.
