Students start fire in bathroom at Nashville high school, investigators say

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – Two students are accused of intentionally starting a fire at a school in Nashville.

The Nashville Fire Department said the pair was arrested in connection with a fire that happened February 13 at Independence Academy High School, a charter school along Hickory Hollow Parkway.

Firefighters allege that they found a toilet paper holder and a roll of toilet paper had been set on fire in the men’s restroom at the school. The fire was extinguished, and no injuries were reported…
