Ella Langley paid tribute to a music legend when she took the historic Grand Ole Opry stage on Tuesday evening (February 24) in Nashville, Tennessee.
Langley and other artists performed in honor of Ronnie Milsap, 83, celebrating his 50th anniversary of becoming a member of the Opry. She covered Milsap’s “Almost Like A Song” and “I Wouldn’t Have Missed It For The World” during the show, which also included Trace Adkins, Mark Wills, Keith Urban, Vince Gill, Blake Shelton, Milsap himself and the Tennessee School for the Blind Jazz Band.
“Tonight I got to honor one of my very favorites with one of my favorite songs to sing at one of my favorite places to play music,” Langley said as she shared a clip on Instagram of her rendition of “I Wouldn’t Have Missed It For The World.” Milsap released the heartfelt ballad in 1981:…
