NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — The Metro Nashville Police Department’s Southeast Precinct is stepping up its fight against illegal street racing — with help from above.
Commander Carlos Lara with the Southeast Precinct said a slight uptick in street racing prompted a plan to work with MNPD’s aviation unit to keep streets safe. Since the MNPD’s Southeast Precinct opened last November, Lara has made it a priority to crack down on street racing.
