NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — The late Rev. Jesse Jackson’s family stopped Saturday in Nashville to carry on the legacy of who they call a civil rights hero.
Rep. Jonathan Jackson (D-Illinois), Jesse Jackson’s son, spoke to FOX17 News at Swett’s Restaurant off Clifton Ave where his dad made some presidential campaign stops back in the 1980’s.
Both Rep. Jackson and his sister Santita say this is the “New South” their dad “fought so hard to forge.”
