NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – This is the time of year when the pollen level in Middle Tennessee increases quickly. With each passing day, more trees get into the game of waking up from winter and preparing for the spring and summer ahead.
Just a couple of weeks ago, Nashville’s pollen levels were low to moderate. This week will be very different, however.
Monday’s pollen level looks relatively low because some rain showers will wash much of it out of the sky. That’ll be the anomaly.
Tuesday through Friday, levels will reach moderate to high. A developing, gusty southerly wind on Tuesday and Wednesday will help it to build, as areas farther south of Tennessee (Gulf Coast states) have very high pollen levels now…
