GOODLETTSVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — If you hear tornado sirens in Goodlettsville later today, don’t panic: the city has begun siren testing ahead of severe weather season.
In Tennessee, severe weather is mostly likely to strike from March to May. During this time, tornadoes are more likely to touch down in the Volunteer State, according to News 2 Meteorologist Alex Libby.
The City of Goodlettsville has four tornado sirens for emergency alerts: two in Davidson County and two in Sumner County.
