For Sawyer June Dinwiddie – who performs as Sawyer June – an experience on a recent trip to Nashville could move her closer to using her stage name on a more frequent basis.
Sawyer, who’s 10 ½ (and you better not forget the ½), is the daughter of Josh and Kit Dinwiddie and a fifth grader at Turner Public Schools who dreams of being a famous singer.
Sawyer traveled to Nashville with her parents, who had purchased tickets to the Grand Ole Opry so Sawyer could see her favorite singer, Ashley McBryde, perform on February 21…
