From Fairport to Nashville: Claudia Hoyser Realizes Her Dream One Stage at a Time

From coffee shop open mics home in Fairport to sharing arena stages with country music’s biggest names, Claudia Hoyser has built her career on grit, gratitude, and a fearless belief in possibility.

Hoyser credits her hometown as the foundation of her journey. What began as “more of a hobby,” steadily grew into a full-fledged career, thanks in large part to the community that showed up for her again and again. “The love and support from my hometown really encouraged me to keep pursuing this dream,” she says. Today, that dream has carried her across Western New York and onto stages around the country.

A Basement, a Karaoke Machine, and a Dream

Hoyser’s love of music reaches back as far as she can remember. She recalls skipping sleepovers to film herself singing in her parents’ basement and “practicing the same four guitar chords until I couldn’t feel my fingers.” Childhood piano lessons didn’t stick, as she admits “I couldn’t stand practicing piano when I was younger,” but songwriting did.
