NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – A new school safety report from Metro Nashville Police recommended Metro Schools implement a clear backpack policy to allow school staff to easily see if students are bringing prohibited items onto campus.
Metro Council commissioned the report from the police department after two school shootings in Nashville in the last three years.
