Columbia woman launches ‘Spiked in Nash’ site to track drink-spiking incidents

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – After a scary situation involving a family member’s drink being spiked in downtown Nashville, a Middle Tennessee woman created a platform to help report similar incidents.

Erika Gorman created “Spiked in Nash,” a website that allows you to fill out a form online explaining the situation you were in, whether you reported it to police, if there was video, and if you told the restaurant or bar — all while staying anonymous.

“Every single post [on social media], there was a theme where the person who had shared vulnerably what had happened to them was totally shamed and chastised, and it was just completely immediately dismissed as, ‘Oh well you were probably just too drunk and didn’t know,’” Gorman explained…
