Meeting about TDOT’s ‘Choice Lanes’ open for Woodbine, Glencliff and East Thompson residents

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — The fight over the Tennessee Department of Transportation’s proposed Choice Lanes rages on as several communities demand their concerns about the project be heard.

There will be a community meeting for residents of Metro’s 16th district to fight against the proposal and strategize a plan. Although no representative from TDOT will be at the meeting, residents in the Woodbine, Glencliff and East Thompson areas are invited to attend and voice their opinions on the project.

TDOT’s toll lane proposal would cut through several properties. In Glencliff and Woodbine, the new Choice Lanes could mean the loss of some residents’ homes…
