NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – A First Alert Weather Day is in effect for bitterly cold weather on Monday.
Last night’s severe storms are gone, and now a blast of cold air settles in. Temperatures will gradually dip throughout the day. Generally, highs will be in the mid to upper 30s, but with the wind chill, it will only feel like the upper 20s outside all day long.
Try to limit your time outdoors. Winds will be strong again today, but not as strong as yesterday. Wind will come in from the NW around 15 MPH with some gusts up to 30 MPH. A hard freeze will take over by Tuesday morning…
