Nashville neighborhood demands safety changes after third death on Ewing Drive in two years

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – A Nashville neighborhood is demanding changes to keep people safe along a busy stretch of road after a deadly hit-and-run crash on Monday night marked the third person killed along Ewing Drive in the past two years.

Metro Nashville Police said 68-year-old Clifford Coleman was hit and killed trying to cross the road Monday night near Brick Church Pike.

Community members said Metro designated this area as a high-crash intersection four years ago, but the speed limit has not been reduced…
