Mecum Auctions Heads to Tennessee With Inaugural Nashville Event

Mecum Auctions will expand into Tennessee this fall with the inaugural Mecum Nashville auction, set for Sept. 23–26 at Nashville Superspeedway in Lebanon. The four-day event marks Mecum’s first auction at the Superspeedway and establishes a significant new stop on the company’s nationwide schedule, bringing its nationally recognized collector car auction experience to the region at an unprecedented scale, auction officials stated in a press release.

The four-day auction is projected to feature approximately 1,200 collector cars crossing the block and draw thousands of visitors to the region. The event underscores Nashville Superspeedway’s commitment to positioning Middle Tennessee as a destination for nationally recognized, large-scale events that generate significant economic impact. As part of the inaugural Nashville event, Mecum will also support Make-A-Wish Middle Tennessee, with a significant contribution benefiting the organization’s mission of granting life-changing wishes for children facing critical illnesses.

Plans to Create a More Immersive, Festival-Style Automotive Environment

Beyond the auction block, Mecum and Nashville Superspeedway are exploring ways to activate the track and surrounding facilities to create a more immersive, festival-style automotive environment. Plans under development include interactive on-track experiences, expanded hospitality programming and curated automotive displays designed to position Mecum Nashville as a destination-style weekend experience for collectors and enthusiasts alike, noted the release.

“Hosting Mecum Auctions at Nashville Superspeedway represents a perfect fusion of automotive passion and racing heritage,” said Matt Greci, general manager of Nashville Superspeedway. “This internationally acclaimed event will not only showcase incredible vehicles but also generate significant economic impact throughout Middle Tennessee, from our hotels and restaurants to local businesses.
