Plans to rebuild demolished East Nashville record store

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — The owner of a historic East Nashville building has been ordered to rebuilt it after it was demolished without a permit.

The Groove’s demolition weeks ago sent shockwaves through the community, with neighbors and city leaders decrying the move as against city codes.

Now, the Metro Historic Zoning Commission has brought the hammer down on the owner who tore it down.
