Metro Council calls hearing on government employee payroll crisis

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — The Metropolitan Council’s Budget and Finance Committee and Government Operations and Regulations Committee will hold a hearing to discuss payroll failures affecting government employees and retirees.

The hearing will take place at 4:30 p.m. March 31 at the Historic Metro Courthouse and will investigate payroll and pension issues that are results of Metro Nashville’s transition to Oracle Fusion Cloud payroll system.
