Residents, councilman seek solutions to excessive Briley Parkway noise

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Constant noise from Briley Parkway has residents and one Metro Councilmember seeking solutions.

It’s outbursts that sound like gunshots — that’s how residents describe the noise from Briley every night.

According to Councilmember Jeff Gregg (District 15), Briley Parkway carries thousands of cars every day, but when the sun goes down is why things get unbearable. He said the issues tend to start at around 9 p.m., when lots of people are winding down for bed.
