Knife-wielding suspect arrested after attempted robbery at Hendersonville shopping center

HENDERSONVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A report of an armed robbery in Hendersonville ended with a suspect in custody.

The Hendersonville Police Department said the frightening incident took place at a shopping center Tuesday morning in broad daylight.

“Very uncommon for our city to have a robbery, especially that early during the weekday,” said HPD Det. Matthew Sigmund.
