Luxury Retail Brands Announce Nashville Stores

Following last week’s opening of Brunello Cucinelli, AJ Capital Partners has announced the newest brands coming to the company’s Wedgewood Village development in Wedgewood-Houston.

According to a release, ready-to-wear brand Zimmermann (stylized as “ZIMMERMANN”) — a favorite among Nashville’s cultured set — will open a 2,186-square-foot store this summer at 503 Houston St. Also expected this summer, Staud (stylized as “STAUD”) will debut a 1,742-square-foot boutique at 515 Houston St. Golf culture brand Malbon has signed a lease for a 2,534-square-foot retail space, also set to open in the summer at 501 Houston St. And sleep and loungewear brand Eberjey will open a 919-square-foot boutique at 1209 Brown St. this spring.

Founded in 1991 by sisters Nicky Zimmermann and Simone Zimmermann, Zimmermann blends fashion and swimwear by adding bold prints. The brand later expanded into ready-to-wear, footwear, jewelry, accessories and kidswear. The Nashville location will mark the brand’s 32nd store in the United States and will sit at 503 Houston St.

Los Angeles-based Staud, known for contemporary yet timeless designs for modern women, launched in 2015. Former Reformation fashion director Sarah Staudinger and entrepreneur George Augusto founded the brand, which now operates 11 retail locations in various U.S. markets.

Husband-and-wife duo Erica Malbon and Stephen Malbon founded Malbon in 2017 with a mission to “make the green the common ground.” The high-end golf label has evolved from a limited men’s line into a lifestyle brand offering men’s and women’s apparel, footwear and accessories. The Nashville boutique will serve as both a retail space and a cultural hub with ongoing events and collaborations.

Opening in the spring, Eberjey will bring its signature soft, feminine sleepwear and intimates to Wedgewood Village. Founded by Mariela Rovito and Ali Mejia, Eberjey is known for refined designs with strict attention to detail and quality.
