Advocates bring attention back to unsolved murder of 74-year-old North Nashville woman

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – Six months after a 74-year-old Nashville woman was found murdered inside her home, advocates are renewing the call for answers and justice.

Earl Jordan with Partners In The Struggle said that he is bringing “much-needed awareness and attention” to the murder of 74-year-old Harriet Edwards. According to the Metro Nashville Police Department, Edwards was found dead in her home in North Nashville on Oct. 6, 2025.

A press release said Partners In The Struggle and the AnTwand Covington Jr. Foundation, founded by Talia Gooch, will pass out over 500 flyers about the murder case on Saturday. Members from both organizations will be at Chateau Valley Court and Chateau Valley Drive starting at about 7:30 a.m…
