Cheatham County Planning Commission votes to halt rural resort amendment discussion

After many months of discussion, those who opposed the possibility of a rural resort amendment are breathing a cautious sigh of relief.

The Cheatham County Regional Planning Commission voted to discontinue future discussion of the rural resort amendment to the county zoning resolution at its April 2 meeting. The vote takes discussion or future drafting of an amendment off the table.
