SUMNER COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — A Hendersonville man has been sentenced in connection with a May 2023 sexual assault incident.
According to the Sumner County District Attorney’s General Office, 40-year-old Nathan Charles Parks was arrested on aggravated rape, aggravated burglary and assault charges on Wednesday, April 8.

Over the course of the trial, prosecutors — Assistant District Attorneys Nathan Nichols and Tara Wyllie — showed that Parks knocked on the door of a female who lived at a Hendersonville apartment complex during the early morning hours of May 20, 2023. He was asking for help.
Officials said the female then opened the door, and Parks entered the home and violently raped her. The female then called the police after Parks left, and Hendersonville police officers located him soon after.
