TBI special agents investigate Smyrna police use of force

SMYRNA, Tenn. (WZTV) — State investigators are looking into what led to a confrontation between Smyrna police and a man who ran from officers, with alleged of unnecessary use of force.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation says it’s working the case at the request of 16th Judicial District Attorney General Jennings Jones.
