Cornerstone Church Hendersonville requested the annexation of 22.38 acres of property and the rezoning of that property during the Hendersonville Planning Commission meeting on April 7.
The planning commission approved a positive recommendation for the request in an 8-1 vote following discussion. No one spoke for or against the annexation or rezoning of the property into office designation during the public hearing associated with the request. The request now will go before the Board of Mayor & Aldermen.
The property is located at 1402 and 1410 Kingdom Way, off Stop 30 Road and north of Vietnam Veterans Boulevard. A church, office and parking areas are currently located on the properties, and the portion requested for rezoning is zoned as rural residential or residential through Sumner County…
